New to Piney Grove
A new members class is offered periodically. It is a chance to meet with the pastor for three Sundays during the Sunday School hour to discuss the way Piney Grove operates, learn about Baptist distinctive's, and to answer any questions you might have. If you are interested in attending you can email us or speek with Rev. Reece.
About Our Pastor
Rev. Mark A. Reece, Jr.
Our pastor is a native of Surry County and has a passion for rural ministry. His journey with us at Piney Grove began when he was called as Minister of Youth and Education in the Spring of 2006. In August of 2009, he was called as our Pastor.
Upcoming Events
Weekly Bible Study
Our Pastor leads a large group Bible study on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. At that same time, we offer "Faith Steps," a program for our children that incorporates the study of the Bible and missions, recreation, crafts, snacks, and music.
Piney Grove Youth
Odos - (greek) 1. a way, path, or road. 2. early Christians were called “Followers of The Odos.” 3. the youth of Piney Grove Baptist Church who seek to follow the odos of Jesus in everything they do through purposeful moments of discipleship, missions, and fun.
